I start my work with a 5mn warm-up: - I train my typing speed with Monkeytype - I train keyboard shortcuts with KeyCombiner It's easy to do and it conditions me to get into the work. Obviously knowing the keyboard shortcuts and typing faster are a real advantage. What are your tips?

Thanks for sharing! I will try that as I'm very slow in the morning. My phone should be away from me and on silent so I will not be distracted :)

@gladys_atienza same here. I buy a traditional alarm for don’t use my phone as alarm. So I don’t wake up with my phone in hand.

Create a to-do-list with deadlines on it, then stick to it.

@rimer_carlyle_espinosa You plan your tasks day-to-day or far more in advance?

@laurieherault I do pre-week planning and pre-month planning. So before the month starts, I create a macro-plan of the things I want to accomplish in a month. Then before the week starts (every week), I create a pre-week plan by listing down the things I want to do in a week. This way, every week I got to celebrate the small things I accomplished in a week. Then every month I got to celebrate of the bigger stuff I accomplished.

Importance of setting goals and having a plan in place to achieve them. Having clear goals can help to focus your efforts and efforts and ensure that you are making progress towards achieving the things that are most important to you. Additionally, having a plan in place can help you to break down your goals into smaller, more manageable tasks, and can help you to stay organized and on track. This can ultimately help to increase your productivity and ensure that you are able to accomplish more in less time.

If you're have trouble starting working, have a set of small tasks you do everyday, so you just seamlessly slide into a working mood. Mine is a set of bookmarks to open at the start of each day - metrics, producthunt/indiehackers, email.. Right click, open all in new tabs.. And by the time I'm done with them, I'm ready to move on to more serious tasks..
