I recently founded my content writing agency, and I discovered now how hard cold email outreach can be. What are your best tips to improve the chances of your email getting opened and getting a reply?

This is a great question. I'll follow the thread as it evolved. One thing I've learned is to be careful with over-selling *you* and make it about what you want from *them*.

It all comes down to understanding your audience, buyer personas and then offering them value in a way that they are convinced to work with you.
1. find a niche database - it's better to send fewer emails to the right people
2. create a strong email subject line that is relevant to that niche and the business stage they are at
3. create valuable and specific email content that applies to their business.
Lastly, I think creative writing matters too. If you can make a fun sales email that will get replies for sure. Recently I received a cold email with movie analogies, comparing services to iconic movies and including phrases from them. It was fun and really grabbed my attention and I replied too!
