What’s the secret to getting 1,000+ upvotes?

Question

We’ve managed to 300+ upvotes for our previous launch. Plan to launch my SaaS product in April.

What can we do better/different to hit that 1,000 mark. Of course, the number can be relative or even arbitrary. But 1,000 does seem to be a benchmark for a good product. I might be wrong here 🙃

a lot depends on the total network of the launching team, not just the upvotes from the PH users who dont know you or your product. And a lot of the effort on the launch day is actually invested in making sure your network comes to support your launch

I believe that building a strong network with active members on Product Hunt will help you secure 1000 upvotes on day one. Many founders and their team members often make the mistake of launching their product first and then requesting upvotes, which is an ineffective approach.
