Remember: you're not smarter and not stupider than anyone else. Just focus on solving your tasks and don't worry about the others. It's just you - and your task, and how good you can solve it only depends on how well you've studied. That was my father's advise before I went to my first ever city-level school competition in Geography. I won the 1st place in my city, and have been winning for 4 consecutive years on city and region level. At the end of the day, whatever we do, it's always us vs. the task. It's a better perspective than trying to compete with the others, because there are so many people. But focusing on solving the task that you're given right now is the best advice I've ever got.

Best one.. hum. Work-wise, maybe the best one was to remember why you do what you do. This helps to stay focused, find the motivation at the low energy days and challenges. It is okay to feel like giving up sometimes, but keeping in mind why you do what you do will help you stand up and continue the journey.
