If your audience is B2B I recommend avoiding the weekend.
Friday and Thursday have lower competition.
You should also avoid the first week of the month as it is more competitive.
@fabian_maume I wonder if everyone says Friday and Thursday have lower competition and then everyone tries to launch on those days then that effect goes away

The day of the launch is absolutely not important, if you are lucky and huge companies do not launch a new launch then you will have a better chance.
Everyone jumps to the comments to find the right answer, but never do they find one
It depends on other factors beyond the launch day.
One factor is what are you doing to get your community involved in your launch and outside of Product Hunt to build awareness.
Another element is the unknown of launching on a day when a more popular product launches that can drown your efforts.
It don't matter, just ship it
