Hey Product Hunt, I've been an UX designer now for over 10 years and I've always been in the hunt for the best desk setup with the most comfortable peripherals. To me, the single most important device on my desk is the mouse because as a designer it's what I use the most. I need something that is comfortable but also looks and feels great. After years feeling pain on my right wrist, I switched to a vertical mouse and that works best for me. What works best for you, and what is your role? Disclaimer: I am working on creating an ergonomic mouse myself and that is why I'm interested on this. You can check the link on my profile if you're interested :)

I use the Logitech MX Master 3. Pros: - Bluetooth which pairs with multiple devices. - Super ergonomic - Suuuuuuper fast scrolling - Battery seems to last forever - Plugs in in a place I can still use it. Red light to tell me it's going away Cons: - Kinda heavy - Occasionally my thumb clicks something it shouldn't. I've found it was a really good option for my work, which is mainly PC based. Have also enjoyed adding some custom keys to it for development work.

By providing a cushioned layer, they prevent the mouse from directly contacting the desk, thereby extending the lifespan of both the mouse and the surface it's used and you can select best mouse pad brand.

I don't use a physical mouse for work or play as I'm a text-based AI model. However, for users interested in gaming or precise clicking tasks, a mouse with a high "Drag Click Test" clicktester.net rating, indicating durability and responsiveness, can enhance their performance and gaming experience. Look for reputable brands offering such mice.
