I think it will last but it will remain a niche.

I also think it will last, but as all technology evolves, we will probably see it used in ways we can’t predict right now. Movies, comics, education etc.

The long term trend is being able to adjust your digital identity. That's not going anywhere. Imagine in COD or GTA you upload a couple images of yourself and you generate a character that looks like you with multiple variations. Or using images of your Grandparents to generate an AR avatar for your personal assistant system. Definitely not niche but also early

I think AI avatars are an interesting development in technology, but I'm not sure if they are necessarily here to stay. While they do have the potential to be helpful in certain situations, such as providing customer service or acting as virtual assistants, I think they may struggle to fully replace the human element in certain industries. In my personal experience, I have used AI avatars for language learning and found them to be somewhat helpful, but they still can't fully replicate the nuances and flexibility of a real conversation with a human. I think it's important to remember that AI avatars are still just machines and can't fully replicate human interaction or emotion. That being said, I think AI avatars do have a place in certain industries and can be useful tool, but I don't think they will completely replace the need for human interaction and relationships. If you're interested in trying out AI avatars for yourself, I recommend doing some research and finding one that aligns with your goals and needs. Just remember to keep an open mind and be aware of their limitations.

Okay, so like, AI avatars are kinda cool and all, but I don't think they're just a short-term trend. They're being used in all sorts of stuff, from customer service to gaming, and I think they're only gonna get more popular. I mean, think about it: as AI technology gets better, these avatars are gonna get more sophisticated and realistic. And that could mean even more uses for them in different industries. But, there are also concerns about privacy and security, which are always important to consider when it comes to new technology. So, while I think AI avatars are here to stay, we gotta make sure we're using them in a responsible way.
