It feels like there’s hundreds of applications using ChatGPT launched daily.. Which ones truly stood out to you or seemed different from the vast majority?

I would like to recommend our app, AMA。In addition, I'm excited to share that we just launched AMA on Product Hunt today! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase our app to the Product Hunt community and receive feedback from early adopters like you.
Janine N
hey @gaodengming good luck with your launch! will make sure to hop across and check out your product..

For me, Use'ChatGPT.AI' It's a chrome extension. and you can write, rephrase, summarize, and translate with the sidebar. It's helpful to enhances productivity.
Janine N
@charlie_lee1 yea I have to say translation is one of my most common use cases for chat gpt
Mark
@charlie_lee1 Thanks Charlie so much for sharing the extension ( https://usechatgpt.ai/install?re... )!
Computer Port IT Solutions
I think there are many but one that is quite easy and will lift your mood instantaneously is https://www.roomgpt.io/ and it takes 1 min to understand what it is doing and the results will bring many ideas immediately

I love using Ariana, a ChatGPT assistant that lives in WhatsApp and gives me really quick answers that don't need me going on ChatGPT :)
Janine N
@mirena_vasileva thanks for your input on this. would you mind sharing one prompt that you gave it? or is there even one use case you have regularly?
Mirena Vasileva
@janine_nitz Sure! I regularly use it when my answer is more than one google search away, for instance - best places to go in lake district, what to not forget to bring with me considering the UK weather, how long does it take to get there by car, etc. The other day I used it to cook dinner and figure out my ring size lol! It's for the easy stuff that you'd rather quickly type on your phone. Hope this helps
Janine N
@mirena_vasileva cool.. thanks for your honesty there :) super interesting!! love the lake district ❤️ beautiful place.. we went to the pencil museum, if you want to add that to your list 😂
Mirena Vasileva
@janine_nitz haha never heard of it but going back in April so definitely adding this to my list as it came right on time - thank you!
Anton Bannov
I think the valuable applications are those that are not fully built on the functionality of ChatGPT, but in which ChatGPT adds additional value
Janine N
@anton_bannov yea totally agree. Do you have an example for one in mind?

to be honest, a lot of these tools currently look pretty basic versions of chatGPT wrapped in an interface limiting it to make it more digestible for the general public :) I've upvoted a bunch, but none really stand out. What I love the most currently are seamless integrations: Notion AI, smarter Gmail suggestions, stuff like that. And the direct sources: OpenAI, Midjourney, etc. they are really fun to play with and once you get how they work and how to prompt them right, they become all of these tiny products in one. I think 99.9% of the products and tools we see now are very basic. The real stuff takes more time and we'll be seeing the true tech renaissance early next year.
Janine N
@kay_larina yea I kind of feel the same, which is why I was interested in hearing everyone else’s opinion. Thanks for sharing yours! Love the research approach of OpenAI.. haven’t heard of midjourney so will go and check it out..

ChatGPT itself 😂 Though if I'd toot my own horn, it would probably be evoke-app.com once we get it implemented with our AI image generation API
Carter Wang
I would recommend Notion, but you can find more alternatives here https://www.wikiaitools.com/app/...

ChatGPT itself is really amazing! I am still looking for some other stuff."

Replika, an AI chatbot that focuses on giving emotional support and talking like a person, was one of my favorite ChatGPT apps. It's different from most customer service or productivity chatbots, and it really shows how ChatGPT can be used in situations that require empathy.
Janine N
@sanders_mitche ok I’m intrigued.. since the empathetic/ emotional part always seems to be the go to argument when talking about shortcomings of AI.. will have to try this chatbot you’re talking about. Thanks for sharing 🙏

Built https://www.producthunt.com/prod... sometime ago. Working wonders for e-commerce folks.
Janine N
@iamaashishr wow, this seems like a fully packed tool covering almost all creative writing parts for e commerce shops. Pretty amazing if that works! We tried once to rewrite an outreach campaign using AI (just as a test) and ended up having our email blacklisted. It was warmed up and we had been using the inbox for a while without issues.. Is there any similar issues you are aware of when using AI for SEO copy or similar? Curious to hear your thoughts on this.
Aashish Ramamurthy
@janine_nitz Using the tool, around 2K merchants have created 4K prompts and have started to see it work because it is highly personalized with tone of prompt outputs people have achieved. Try to use it and would love to see if it provides better results. SEO is something I still am not aware of seeing it work. Programmatic SEO is still at its nascent stages of output.

I'm waiting for ChatGPT plugins :)
Rofy Okyere-Forson
@golfo_vasiliou1 We're planning on releasing a plugin for our platform once that rolls out. The goal is to try to do it with both text & images. That should be exciting. Here is roboMUA: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
Luca Kiedrowski
I currently use Luna, a Chrome extension that let's you prompt ChatGPT by typing an "L" in the search bar, followed by a space. Sounds simple, but speeds up my workflow a lot! https://chrome.google.com/websto...
Mehdi Rifai
One i started using yesterday and I like so far is writesonic
Janine N
@mehdi_rifai yea the writing use case is definitely a good one.. so many tools out there to chose from though.. 🤯what made you go for this one?
Janine N
@mariomiletta what do you like about this one, as opposed to other tools?
Mario Miletta
@janine_nitz It is quick and easy, gives you the sources from which it has extracted the content, and allows you to deepen your search by suggesting what to look for
Janine N
@mariomiletta ok cool.. I like that it gives you the sources of what it has found, that seems very helpful! will go and check it out. Thanks for sharing

At Kodif, we've built Agent Assistant for Customer Support/CX teams. It's powered by GPT-3 and can easily generate answers based on a company's knowledge base and user's data. Check out https://www.kodif.ai/ to see what else we are doing for the CX industry!
Yasmin Atkinson
One ChatGPT app that stood out was GPT-4 Assistant (not to toot my own horn). It's versatile and has been adapted to various industries like customer support, content generation, and even coding assistance. Love seeing unique applications that push the boundaries of what AI can do.
Chris Gregori
I've built https://mealmind.io/ launching tomorrow which builds entirely bespoke meal plans for users based on their diet, allergies, goals and physical traits. Check it out if you're into fitness or meal planning and let me know what you think. I also quite like https://cmdj.app/ for ease of access to asking ChatGPT questions while I work
Janine N
@chris_gregori ha funny.. it’s like you have met me before.. I’m a total foody :) definitely trying out mealmind.. good luck with the launch!
Rofy Okyere-Forson
Personally, I am looking forward to the mass release of the plugins store! And we at roboMUA are preparing to release a plugin for ChatGPT once that opens up fully. It should be exciting - the goal is to release it for both text & image functionalities.

To help with blog writing. to quickly and consistently plug in a topic to talk about and get an outline in a few seconds is such a time saver-- by outline, I am referring to those 5-6 subheadings.
Janine N
@lvledup love it! I have used it in similar scenarios, such a time saver. Have you used one of those tools generate entire blog posts for you as well? Would be keen to get your input on that..
James Brazil
@janine_nitz sorry for the late reply! and I have. I've used AI in other ways such as rewriting articles and things like that. It does a scarily good job of attempting to mimic humor. You need to keep a close eye at the more long-form content to make sure its not just gibberish, but heck of a time saver
