As AI and automation become more advanced, they are likely to have a significant impact on the job market. Some experts predict that AI will automate many routine and repetitive tasks, leading to job loss in some industries. However, others argue that AI will also create new jobs and opportunities in fields such as data analysis and machine learning. I personally have a very optimistic opinion on the subject and believe that AI will drastically change the way we create and consume content, leading to exciting new possibilities and opportunities. What are your thoughts on the subject? Do you think AI will have a positive or negative impact on the job market in the coming years?

I agree with your optimistic outlook on the impact of AI and automation on the job market. I believe that, while some jobs may be lost, AI will also create new and exciting opportunities.

@philipsnyder @clement862 That's my favourite comparison to make. Most people don't even know what HTML is although they use it everyday... Ultimately AI will become a tool like any other that some people know how to use while some others don't

I think that AI and automation will have a huge impact on the job market in the next few years. I had a chat with one of my high school teachers a couple of weeks ago, and he told me that he expects most of his students to loose their jobs because of the coming AI revolution. I can see why he thinks this way.

Look at the invention of the car in the early 1900s, the computer in the 70s, and the internet in the 90s. All these inventions caused massive job loss and a shift in the economy. It is predicted that automation will impact lower-skilled jobs the most. Although, this does not mean that automation will destroy all jobs completely.

@umar_saleem Yes that's also what I think. Ultimately we have always been optimizing for comfort and speed. AI will definitely replace a lot of jobs but I think this will give us the opportunity to focus on more meaningful things such as reducing our carbon emissions or going to space, etc.
