I am interested in learning from SaaS founders about the strategies and actions that contributed to their first payment. Specifically, I would like to understand the mistakes they managed to avoid and the pivotal moments that led to their initial success.

Trying to solve the problem for 10 people instead of everyone... Like in Nov everyone was building a product around Black Friday deals platforms. We thought there might be 10-20 people who want to list their product on those platforms but they don't have the time or it seems too boring to find and add their product. So we built a service to submit your startup on 15+ directories in 48 hours. And we kept the price low to test it initially... And guess what, our early offer was sold out in 24 hours and we increased the price to 100%, and even then, all our slots were gone in 72 hours. Although we made $100 from it, but the feeling is awesome. Hope it helps :)

@cameronscully_ Thanks a lot Cameron! Regarding twitter, most of my followers are "developers" themselves who are not fit to be our customers. In the past, I used to receive a lot of engagement thanks to hashtags, but nowadays, they don't seem to be as effective. How can I overcome this?
