What does a marketing strategy mean to you?

I've seen many interpretations of what a marketing strategy means to people. How do you transition from the abstract language of a vision to weekly actions with defined KPIs? So you don't end up with "We are going to do ads on Instagram.".

Hi Aljoša! There are indeed many interpretations; some of them might create confusion and complex narratives around simple concepts. However, we view marketing as a crucial component for revenue generation, also referred to as 'revenue marketing.' This approach prioritises your revenue goals over specific tactics like 'Instagram ads' or 'TikTok.' Revenue marketing is all about reaching -> the right audience -> with the right message -> on the right channel -> to help you achieve your revenue objectives. Of course, revenue marketing doesn't stop at user/customer acquisition; it extends to advocacy. Hope it helps! Learn more: https://www.linkedin.com/company...

You may have it wrong. "We are going to do ads on Instagram" is what will help you define what ISN'T working. From there you can use deductive reasoning to come up with what will. Or, take what does work from the ads, and further refine by A/B testing until you hit ad gold. People get paralyzed with marketing, reducing it to a chicken-egg conundrum. I say spend a few hundred bucks and make those initial mistakes - it will get you to where you want to go.
