What do you think of Elon's approach of using his tweets to prioritize features and bug fixes?

Elon tweeted his "framework" for Twitter prioritization: number of likes times ease of implementation. What do you think of his approach to publicizing Twitter's product initiatives like that? Otherwise, how do you use customer feedback in your product prioritization?

I think it's fine. As long as it works...

I respect it. I mean, taking away any bias about Elon from myself and broader audiences and looking at it objectively, it's kind of refreshing to see this level of community direction for product updates. It's also just genuinely interesting watching it unfold

It's a good approach and stems from the value-based strategy, i.e. incorporating customers' feedback into product roadmaps (relying on customers’ perceived value of a given feature/bug). The caveat should be how many of those likes are from valid users who use Twitter and how many are from those who are Elon Musk's fanbase.
@ieraj Pricisely this. Should exist as a banner for all users "Want to vote on our next features? Click here!"
This would be an absolute disaster for a B2B startup, but works great for Twitter as long as these are changes that can be rolled back.

I am not sure if this is a proven fact but if it is then its whack. Not super happy with whats going on with Twitter including 75% layoffs and API usage stuff.
