Definitely true, but I majorly believe that it will evolve as new use cases get created which in turn leads to new problem statements to be solved. We are doing the same thing with Creatosaurus (https://www.creatosaurus.io), focusing on the next problem statement i.e. Storytelling.

@heyishwar I agree with your point. As social media platforms and technologies continue to evolve, social media scheduling tools will likely adapt and offer more integrated and smart solutions. But how will they continue to manage API costs? For example, Twitter charging from $5000 to $42000 a month may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Absolutely! Social media scheduling tools have undoubtedly revolutionized the way we manage and optimize our online presence. However, the changes in API pricing considering Twitter & Reddit API costs, and platform policies are making it difficult for scheduling tools, especially the new ones in the market to survive in the longer run without thousands of monthly paying customers. I can definitely see those new challenges arising but I don't believe it will be enough to make people give up on them completely. Like you said, they play a pivotal role in social media, so I believe people will just find a way to work around the challenges.

interesting question! i'd argue that as long as content remains king, tools that help manage and distribute it efficiently won't be in danger, they'll simply evolve. sure, API pricing, platform policies, and tech evolution will shape the landscape, but these are variables we've always dealt with. social media scheduling tools might need to pivot, adopt more AI, or integrate better with other platforms, but they won't disappear. they might morph into something more robust, more intuitive, more tailored to the ever-changing demands of content creators and marketers. the future is not just about survival, but adaptation and evolution.

Branding and content has so much money tied to it that automated delivery will still exist imo, but I'd imagine will adapt or just be reserved for those with $$$ to continue on.
