What do you think about the current state of content online?

I'm talking about the way the format of short videos changed and keeps on changing the content we see online. I think it can be harmless only in case a creator is aimed at putting at least some use into it. Yet most of the content is just info noize, nothing else. What do you think?

It leads more into the entertainment sphere, if you take memes, for example. But there are those same people who support motivation.

@ixord I don't have no prejudice against the entertainment value of the content online, I'm just bothered with its quality, it looks like it's degrading. Motivational & educational content, at the same time, becomes better and better.

You are right. And they are meaningless for SEO.

@elenat Well, memes can be meaningless for SEO, but I believe they can work for a brand's public image. People may feel that a brand is on the same wave as they are, give a brand a more human face so to say.
I think this is only going to get worse over time - The internet is already a crazy, noisy space, and AI content is making it even crazier With Frontdoor, I'm hoping we can create a calmer internet, full of high value curated content, not just 30 second AI generated videos

@william_mathews1 Yeah, can totally agree that it's a noisy place indeed. I'm really scared of what to come as the principle "the louder you scream the more people you gather around" is still effective and it saddens me.
@burmistrov I don't think things will be this way forever, eventually there will come a tipping point, where people arn't getting enough value from the established platforms anymore - then things will change

Most of it is, without a doubt, a "junk food" for our brains. Mindless scrolling without a notch of thinking.
Everything the content itself is amazing based on the view and perspective of the searching question. The related content will be shown and the content creator has the thought on his way.
