What do you do if you get a gift which you don't like?

Great question! If I have a close relationship to whomever gave it me, I try to me honest — in a nice way, of course. I think most people close to me would prefer a gift doesn't go to waste. So if they give me a shirt that isn't a color I'd wear, I'd ask if it was okay if I exchange for a similar one that I'd prefer. But no matter how close you are, it's always tricky to navigate.
