What are your thoughts on the current state of AI and its potential for the future?

I'm incredibly excited about the current state of AI, as it's not only revolutionizing industries and advancing scientific research, but with continuous improvements and ethical considerations, it holds enormous potential to reshape our future in unimaginable ways, making life easier, better, and more efficient.

I've worked on AI for a long time and recent improvements in large language models seem different than previous hypes. A lot of us do our jobs on a keyboard writing text; now that there is AI that is specialized in exactly that, there is going to be a lot of disruption. My main concern is that the benefit will be concentrated in the hands of just a few.
