Is college worth it? Does it prepare you for life after college? What was your experience when you graduated?

My belief is college is highly generalized and career resource centers lack the personalization students need (The ratio of career advisor to college student is typically 1:1000).
Colleges and universities are also failing to teach students about modern career fields, especially those that lie outside the mainstream roles (i.e product manager at Google). Most students have never heard of niche roles like BDR/SDRs, Sales Engineers, or Solutions Architect, let alone know what it is these roles do and their differences.
I wonder why so many students feeling lost or experiencing post-graduate anxiety or even depression.
This is why we are launching a career exploration marketplace on Monday for college students. To provide them with an easier, personalized, low-commitment way to explore multiple different careers and discover their career passions.
Let me know your thoughts 😃
