Hi Sarah, I would like to generate traffic for my current product and launch another one.
Sarah
@dariob_me that sounds fantastic, i wish you every success with this too. What is your new product all about?

I have a couple of other gems in production. My plan for those is to ship early rather than aiming for perfection first πŸ’ͺ
Sarah
@orchard800 Most people get a little lost when it comes to perfection. I love your goals and wish you every success :) tell us more about your gems :))

@sara_with_h well one is a member management system for clubs and the other is a virtual stampcard app for small retailers.

@orchard800 I'm really looking forward to the stamp card app. Then you won't have all these cards flying around in your wallet anymore.

@sara_with_h exactly! They won't get lost or forgotten, the vendor doesn't need the physical cards printing and they get to see the actual stats for each offer. Any pointers for getting this out there before the MVP is finished (which it nearly is)? I've read a lot recently about selling the service before it's even built.

Hey Sarah, my resolution is to get better at my time management and task management, plus try to be more social and not so focused on work all the time. How about you?
Sarah
@reconcatlord ahc yes, that's familiar. I'm also always very focused on either or :D Finding a middle ground is a challenge. For my part, I've resolved to take more care of my mental health and pay a little more attention to the routines I've created for my everyday life. I've noticed that it makes things a lot easier for me if I stay on the ball. Can you relate to that?

@sara_with_h Yes, very much so Sarah, and I have been slacking on my routines and need to get back to them. I notice I am happier and just get so much more accomplished when I have a good to-do list and routine setup for the day and week. When I have my tasks and thoughts organized it makes things so much easier for me, I just need to remember to add tasks to the list throughout the day as I receive them, and stick to the routine. I function best when I have a regimented schedule. I used to laugh off mental health and not pay it much attention, but I notice how much more I get accomplished just having a clear mind. It makes a big difference, and like you, I should be more resolved to spending time on it. 😊

@reconcatlord you speak to me from the soul!!!! That's exactly how I feel. What a difference a small to-do list and a few routines can make. Crazy, isn't it? But I'm glad I'm not alone :) Do you have any other approaches that could be supportive?

@sara_with_h Yes I have one that may sound silly, but I swear it helps. I learned this one in the Army and it works amazing for me. The beginning of everyday pick one task or chore that you don't like doing or usually put off until later in the day or evening. It could be anything, like making the bed, doing a load of laundry, going out early to warm up your vehicle in the cold, doing the dishes or something you just do later in the day that you wish it could be done for you automatically everyday. Most people pick making their bed as soon as they get out of it, and I find that one works well. As soon as I wake, I immediately make the bed. This puts your mind into an almost thoughtless process that you are used to doing, but you're forcing it to be done maybe when you want to do other things first, like have coffee, or get cleaned up, or check your phone and respond to things. I know it sounds ridiculous, but when you complete the task you will set the pace and mood for the day by completing a task as soon as you wake against your comfort. Give it a try, its actually not easy to stick too because its just a simple silly task, that you tell yourself you can do anytime or later, but fight that and force yourself to do your selected task immediately after waking and see how you feel after a couple days. 😊

@reconcatlord Uhh, that sounds so silly but at the same time it makes perfect sense! I will definitely try it out and then report back to you :) Thank you very much!
