Have they been there from the start, or did you discover them as you built things up?

One of the company's values at our company is to make the work environment a safe space. When we are working on a project or plan and may see things differently, we are able to communicate in a way where the team feels heard and no one feels attacked or belittled. I value this so much working at Productive Flourishing.

I think a company's values must be aligned with what relationship you want to have with the customer. A bank for example must have trust at the core of its value on the other hand a candy maker must have fun at the core. Whenever you have the dynamic of the relationship you are to have with a customer all mapped out, you can define your values from the get go. I am starting a new social media platform. So one value I'm definitely planning on having is neutrality. But will add to these values once I get a better look at how customers behave on the platform.
