Best work can be done with a great team. It's not easy to attract talents and build a great team. What are your suggestions? How you'd do it?

As an employee who agreed to joined for a lower wage than I had before, I'd say integrity and trust with the higher management of the company.
A horizontal hierarchy is also really helpful for smaller teams, helps you feel that you are working to help the whole team, but not to just report to your manager.
