Great post, given all the clutter and noise our brains are bombarded with on a daily basis. I used to think meditation was all woo woo.. but now I swear by it! I’m trying to stop watching TV that doesn’t add any value to me.

@kyle_desana physical exercise is something I still have to pick up. I tried yoga for sometime but eventually gave up. Any tips on how to get started and maintain consistency?

Your commitment to daily journaling using the DayOne App and a solid 30-minute meditation practice show dedication to inner well-being.Engaging with books and shows is a wonderful way to nourish the mind. I've heard great things about ""The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse"" by Charlie Mackesy, especially the soothing Audible version. And classics like ""Siddhartha"" by Hermann Hesse and ""Atmamun"" by Kapil Gupta have timeless wisdom.Speaking of resources, I stumbled upon this link: https://www.mentalhealth.com/medication/sertraline-zoloft. It provides insights into medication options like Sertraline (Zoloft), which some individuals find beneficial as part of their mental health journey.

Additionally, exploring new hobbies or creative outlets can be beneficial. Love this thread on mental health practices! It's so important to have those daily rituals that keep us grounded. I’ve found that having a small, personal routine can be therapeutic. For me, one of those routines is enjoying a moment of calm with my rechargeable vape . It’s kind of meditative in a way, especially with the right product. I advise you to try this option as well. It's all about finding those little things that contribute to our overall well-being, isn't it?

@tree_lemon Thats true. The answers (once discovered) can be really simple and then you wonder why it took so much time and struggle to find it :)

I prioritize my mental health through various practices. Daily mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and deep breathing, help center my thoughts. Regular physical activity, like jogging or yoga, boosts my mood and reduces stress. Connecting with loved ones is crucial; I maintain strong social bonds for emotional support. Additionally, I allocate time for hobbies and relaxation. Moreover, I ensure a good sleep routine for mental rejuvenation. It's essential to strike a balance between work and personal life. Lastly, I prioritize regular mental health checkups. I find it beneficial to schedule monthly checkups at Cedar Point Health, a practice that has significantly contributed to maintaining my mental well-being.

@sacigyan This is really good. Thanks for sharing. Scheduling regular mental health checkups is something no one has mentioned before. We are only advised of regular physical checkups. How did you got started and how long have you been doing this? Curious to also understand the benefits you have experienced in your life due to these regular checkups.
