I know there are functionality differences since Threads is new, but are there any philosophical differences?

Wait, are there any philosophical differences between Threads and Twitter? 😂

@ninopiamonte I'm not sure 🤔 that's why I was curious! Are they specifically leaving any features out that they think are toxic?
@parkeraklein Oh, actually yes. Adam Mosseri mentioned some stuff yesterday like leaving politics and negative conversations to Twitter, I think, and keeping it a safe space. No inappropriate words, kinda strict like Instagram.
I cannot spend one minute on Twitter without seeing someone talking about this lol. Something about Twitter being more open to free speech (but more toxic) and Thread being a more open and safe space (with more control over what you can say)
I think twitter is used for news a lot whereas threads doesn't seem to be intended for news at all.
