Depending on complexity, I'd rather make a simple landing page and host it on WordPress for a start. I'd do it by setting it up on a free Oracle VPS - they offer one with an ARM chip that can be scaled if you wish to -, run WP in Docker, buy the domain on Namecheap to get it at the best price tag. Connect VPS and the domain, add Posthog for metrics.
No limits, no hidden fees, just the annual cost of the domain until it's time to scale.

@geri_mate interesting – based on what people talk on twitter designers seem to be moving to use framer. have you tried it? our page is now built on webflow
Both of them are great platforms but a bit expensive from my perspective, but as a Framer motion user, I like to give Framer a try.
I'm interested in using something like Plasmic or Builder.io together with Next.js for the marketing site. I tried some tools but still feel comfortable with using Next.js with UI libraries.
I also think TeleportHQ is a developer-friendly website builder.
@atsuhiro_teshima Thanks! I'm a bit worried that Framer might lack something essential – like the ability to connect with Zapier, Intercom, or something that I consider "standard".
I tried both, I think webflow is more useful
Well we usually develop our landings/website in house but if I had to pick one it definitely be Framer because of its more flexibility in designs
