Hey hunters, Raising money, especially if you're not in any of the hotspots in the US or Western Europe, has been hard in the past year or more. This is our first round and while it took us a bit more time than expected when we first started, we now have some amazing investors onboard. Congratulations! Interesting to know, how did you reach your lead investor and negotiate terms outside hot spots? Will love to connect/chat. Trying to fundraise our first round in a post covid era of 'easy money'.

@ksmnsnp We'd gone to regional events and connected to the regional community as much as possible. While we knew getting US investors would be impossible to get, meeting investors who have invested in countries around us was much more doable and ended up being a success.
