After onboarding hundreds of companies over the past ~6 months, we've launched on Product Hunt for the second time. What are the best ways to get product feedback from the PH community? Always looking to talk to customers and implement suggested improvements :)

Two things I've found really helpful: 1. Ask specific questions to get specific feedback. Lot of people will give general, high-level feedback but it's hard to operate on. To get pointed feedback, ask the right questions. 2. Engage in discussions in comments. Lot of product hunters are willing to go back and forth to discuss what they like/dislike/want in your product. Those discussions can be super valuable

@luke_button What I can tell you from our experience of building jamie is that having personal onboardings and feedback calls with all our early users gave us insights into issues that we would probably not have seen soo early on. In the end, it's a balance between listening to customers to build new features but not getting caught up in fulfilling all wishes or feature requests that they ask for. If you make informed decisions with the insights of what customers want, you will build a great product.

Post often to discussions. I find that posting 4x a day with HIGHLY-RELEVANT questions keeps you top of mind and non-spammy. Every now and then, to show some personality, post a fun question that engages others, asking them about their lives, routines, meals, favorite past times, and ways they decompress. Always talking shop can get boring/repetitive so you need to also show others that you're human and want life advice also.

Speak loudly and you will get tons of feedbacks
