I believe you need to use both, your personal brand is also important and if you have been around Twitter for a while you should have some important connections there that can help you amplify your message.
I believe for a beta stage is still a good idea to promote it under your personal account, at the same time as the company account. After that, it is on the company account.

@samuelnoriega Thanks Samuel! But as a startup is it the best use of time to have to post on both personal and professional accounts? and even if you do, does the information not get repetitive for your followers?
@aignise I wont recommend using the same content on both accounts. Your personal account has already a "voice" with your followers, I will speak directly with that voice to them, telling them about the journey, the excitement about launching the startup, talking to them to see if they are a fit, etc. On the company account in beta I would focus on establishing a voice, send our blog post links, videos, etc. and talk about the differentiator or competitive advantage.
It should be a combination of both but it is easier to get noticed and grow an audience with your private profile.
