Hey PH community๐Ÿ‘‹, I'd love to learn about tips, tools and frustration for working across different time zones. I used to work across 6 different time zones for more than 2 years. Email was the main communication channel. ๐Ÿ˜… Obviously, I hated it a lot. A lot of time wasted and much conflict aroused due to unclear email, wrong attachment, and etc..

I have three wall clocks in my home office just like in a normal office setup. I make sure that I time my hours correctly by looking at those.

@joreomonster Classic! How do you handle daylight saving? It's not a thing where I live so it's still confusing to me. ๐Ÿ˜…

@jaythesong Aha! You're not the only one who's struggled with this. I have too but Google has been a dear friend to me when it comes to this. So I've learned to set a calendar reminder for it before DST begins/ends so I can adjust my clock and schedule.

@joreomonster I see! I should try that too. Thanks! What if I told you that there is a way you can collaborate without having to think about time zones much? :-) That's what I'm building. Check out Tape at https://tape.ooo ๐Ÿ‘€

I can't believe I saw this post on the same day we launched our waitlist ๐Ÿ˜… We are trying to solve a part of the problem you described by creating the simplest time converter that converts time as you type! ๐Ÿ•’ https://www.unidate.io/ Would love to hear your thoughts on this :)

@andrea_todorova1 Nice! I think a lot of people are suffering from the pain point you are trying to solve. I came across this reddit thread yesterday and it might be helpful to you. https://www.reddit.com/r/Executi...

@jaythesong Awesome! Thanks, Jay. Yup, it's the same concept, just we are solving the problem in a different way. It's a great tool, though!

Just having a calendar with the right time, and a world clock chrome extension so you can access that correctly.

Hi Jay. A scheduling tool/software solution can help in regards to working across different timezones and it can improve efficiency + save time/effort + decrease conflict. Scheduling tools can allow you to share your meeting availability (for example via a meeting link page that shows your available meeting times) and let others schedule meetings with you based on on your meeting availability, thereby reducing or eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails/phone calls/messages. Teamcal Ai, for example, is a scheduling tool that can be used to schedule meetings across different timezones. It can help identify available meeting times that work for fellow teammates, even if they're on different time zones. It allows you to sync an existing Google or Outlook calendar. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to check out the Teamcal Ai website at teamcal.ai/
