Tips for writing script for PH explainer video?

Hi PH community! We're preparing for our upcoming launch and I am tasked with preparing the script for our explainer video. Any tips for scriptwriting? We have a short video in mind with just text/animations, not a person on screen speaking.

Make it short and simple. Cut down on the introductions and stories. Just saying "hey, I'm kate" is fine for an intro.

I'm going to contradict Richard here and say tell your story! Personally I'm interested in why you built this, not just what you built (assuming that it's at all interesting) - so there you go, two comments, and two different views! I'd be interested to know what the general feeling is on this though if anyone else cares to comment. But I would agree with "short and simple" - I don't need to see you logging in, I don't need 8 minutes showing every step. It should be a highlights reel.
