The ROI of Launch on Product Hunt

I'm really curious to from Makers about the return of time and effort they invest into the Product Hunt. Is it really worth it? I don't want to sound it controversial, but I want to look into some insights about conversion rate, that Makers get from Product Hunt traffic. Is it just a buzzword to show #1 badge on your website or does it bring actual business as well? Learning from your past experiences will help me to shape my strategy accordingly. P.S: I'm new on this community and trying to figure it out while working on my product.

Interested in this as well. From what I understand, it's a "peak" and "valley". You can get a bunch of traction for a day or two, and then it can plummet after. Keeping that momentum is what's hard.

@kyle_desana right. I think the key is to consistently raising awareness through SMM. Using multiple suitable channels to reach target audience beyond PH is what might take you to sucess

@william_mills2 thanks. Absolutely agree - marketing with a diversified strategy is crucial to get audience. We still have to work on setting up our goals to measure success. And yes, it is a continuous process - Build, learn, measure, iterate. Thanks for summing it up
