Sweet Spot Deck?! More detail than basic pitch, BUT nowhere near a 50 slide master plan

No one really talks about how to bridge the gap between ALL the details on paper and a quick sell pitch deck. Can anyone provide any advice or examples in finding that sweet spot? Thanks.
