Yes, it is but isn't everything we do in life like that? You hate the job, you are angry, you curse the boss, you get your salary, you are happy, and the whole cycle goes again. It's a roller coaster ride anyway. Better do something that you really believe in.

@ritu_soni You’re right but just the sheer variance in startups is huge. For instance yesterday I was celebrating converting 2 new marquee clients after 18 months of discussions. Almost instantly had to deal with investor conversations so I can meet payroll in a few days It does my head in at times

1. mentality - control the controllables. If it's out of your control, try not to let it stress you out and drain your energy. If you control the controllables the rest will hopefully fall in your favor. 2. Make sure to unplug at times and let yourself rest. Nobody can go 24/7. It's important to take breaks. 3. Talk to people. Get advice, vent, find solace that you're not alone in the trenches. Good luck!

In this situation, I always think that I did best as per my capacity. Now the result can be anything.

I don’t haha. As I love to code and learn from coding , the only cope mechanism I have is to code more , I recently closed a startup project I had , and made a video about it: https://youtu.be/I2FfqgkBdMM TL;DR I though of quitting every day haha

I think it's really like that for every part of life. Not just a startup I'm sure you've had that before as an investment banker, no?

@richard_gao2 I worked almost as hard but no way was the pressure this immense In corporate environment, I don’t show up for a month what’s the worst that can happen? With my startup… dropping the ball on one thing could mean the end
