What are their motivations? - intentionally vandalize? - just "try things out" without giving a damn about the damage they are causing? - optimize to me able to blend in without any other intention - create followed account fast Who are they? - disoriented kids - Russian trolls? Threats & Challenges: - will you report them on a launch day when they upvoted your product? - they got better - do you really want zillion of "positive feedback" comments if they are not genuine? How to identify them with confidence? - zero followers - recent registration - lots of long comments with suspicious "literary quality"

What I do when I spot such comment, I go to profile, check the activity of the account and report all the comments because they are all generated. I haven't come across any single generated comment from an account with 1+ followers and at least one non-generated comment or profile copy.
