I see that some people do not write comments themselves, but with the help of ChatGPT. It seems strange, unnatural and repulsive to me, what do you think? Does this fact upset you?

Get ready to witness a major shift in human behavior when it comes to consuming content, thanks to the overwhelming amount of content created by AI.
This trend is not just limited to Product Hunt, but it's happening all around the world. I am not upset because not everyone is a great writer or an English speaker, and that's okay. Let's face it, we've all come across bad content and pointless comments, even without ChatGPT.
It will be interesting to see how the consumption part of AI content is going to change in near future.
@djteknokid Yesterday it was "bots problem", now it's "AI problem", I don't want to talk with AI, I'd rather see badly written comment written by human than polished and informative written by AI. I don't say about non-fiction books/articles, I say about comments, reviews, congratulations, etc
@sergeypotikhanov yeah i don't want to talk to them either. But what do you tell non-english speaker who has great idea but has to rely on chatGPT to communicate their ideas?
@sergeypotikhanov @djteknokid Yes this was my first thought without seeing the posts mentioned. If a non-native speaker wrote a few points and asked ChatGPT to write it in better English so they feel they can contribute better, is that a bad thing?
@sergeypotikhanov @joanne_hurleyv1 Not bad thing, but will be perceived bad by many due to not understanding the context / history of the writer, which we can't blame them either.
@djteknokid @joanne_hurleyv1 If a person wants to express his thoughts in English, it's easy to do with Google Translate and Grammarly. But ChatGPT doesn't just translate it; it gives you a few paragraphs from one sentence prompt. It's not a sincere comment already; it's just a polished mess of content from the Internet.
And for example, "What if the student who used ChatGPT wins the competition for admission to the university", or anything like that. What if "Megan Fox" (Any name here) wrote posts for her social media with ChatGPT? Would you leave it in subscriptions? I see using ChatGPT for you social medias as cheating, as well as writing comments in ProductHunt
I agree with you- in fact, we launched for the first time on PH today and I was able to spot a comment that was very much written with AI.
It's kind of wild how ChatGPT currently seems to have a signature voice & tone, hey?

I agree with you, sometimes the comments written by GPT chat are not close to the topic of the article. retro bowl
