Sidebar v/s Top navigation

Hey guys, I need your help🙋♀️!
I Can't choose between Sidebar navigation and Topbar navigation in our SaaS tool.
Do you guys have any insights that are worth sharing with the community? 🤷♀️

With wider screen space, while using any tool; I personally prefer collapsible sidebar nav for mainstream branches. For sub-subsections, top bar might help to navigate within child section of the branch you're in. I've seen many UI's where sub-sections are also buried in sidebar, which might get user lost in the navigating through.
