RPA: reading customer forecast docs?

Let's say you're an enterprise that needs to digest, and quickly respond to, customer forecast docs in a variety of formats. Some come in electronic form (downloadable to, say, a .csv), some as email attachments (xls, pdf, ...). Inevitably they require munging, pivots and/or imputation to make them usable. I'm aware that some companies are automating tasks such as invoice or purchase order entry with structured machine vision apps. Is anybody using a library for this use case? @brianpiercy
