Do you want to use a subscription method or a prepaid (balance) method in a digital product project?

I find pre-paid is definitely more inviting when the product feels like a usage based application, or I get a direct benefit. But it makes me more cautious, so I think a subscription makes more sense to just hook me in right away (unless the pre-paid has a nice free credit amount, then it's a whole new story!)
