Hey Product Hunt community! πŸ‘‹ I'm curious about how you all like to use Product Hunt. Do you prefer the desktop version or the mobile app? I've personally found Desktop version, but I'm interested in hearing your perspectives.

I just found out that we can get the app and connect via our smartphones. I don't know hoe mobile friendly the application is. Got to try it.

@kate_chasten Absolutely, Many users might not be aware of the Product Hunt mobile app, so you're not alone in that discovery. πŸ˜„ I had a similar experience when one of my colleagues told me about it.

@kate_chasten @alyssaphillips Believe it or not, I also found out the other day. It was a relief to find out that I'm not alone in this.

Desktop during office hours and then I use the App. Although I haven't figured where I can find the "Coming soon" on the app
Alyssa Phillips
@panagiota_gkotsi Oh yeah, even I never checked the "Coming soon" section on the app. Will definitely take a look and let you know if I find it.
Relja Denic
Both, but desktop is better for sure
Alyssa Phillips
@relja_denic Absolutely, I agree that the desktop version is great, but I've found it a bit challenging to maintain streak using it. πŸ‘ Even I am also desktop user. πŸ˜„

I've never actually tried the mobile app, but after reading all the comments here, I'm definitely try the mobile application. It seems like quite a few people find it handy and convenient, so it's worth exploring.

I often use my mobile device because it's very convenient and easy. I switch to desktop when I need to check something that is not feasible on mobile.
Alyssa Phillips
@nitin_joshi True, there are many things missing from the mobile app, but it's undeniably convenient for most tasks. Switching to desktop when necessary is a smart approach!

I don't find that mobile does the launches justice
Felya Bilgen
for me both actually :)
Hello! πŸ‘‹ I personally like using the desktop version. It makes browsing and finding new products more enjoyable for me. I also like the detailed product pages, in-depth discussions, and the ability to contribute more extensively.

I use desktop during business hours and mobile at weekends and at night/in the morning to participate in discussions
Elena Tsemirava
I use the desktop to take part in discussions. But if I need to answer a question quickly or just upvote somebody then I use mobile.

Desktop only! Would get overwhelmed with the notifications on mobile to be honest πŸ˜…
I Use mobile for daily steak and desktop for discussion and launch :) By the way we are live today, come show your support !
Alyssa Phillips
@johnmgt Great to hear you have a dual approach to using Product Hunt! By the way, could you please share the name of your product or a URL so we can check it out and show our support?
Alyssa Phillips
@isis_clements Absolutely, I'm with you on that! Desktop's ease of navigation makes it a winner for me too.
Erkin Bek
Interesting that I use both phone and computer, I don't know what that has to do with it, but I only leave reviews via Desktop

@sam_duc That's why you have such an impressive collection of badges, a solid streak, and all those points! πŸ†πŸ”₯πŸ˜…

I'm not a daily Product Hunt user, but I've always used it on desktop! πŸ˜… Thanks for starting this thread, because I had no idea they had a mobile app!
Dima Tryhubenko
The mobile app is great so I participate in discussions (post, comment on existing ones) on my phone Desktop for anything launch-related
Jing Gu
mobile for quicker notifications but desktop if actively managing a launch or want to write an extended reply. the mobile app is easy to use though it doesn’t seem to support β€œcoming soon” yet
