I find the gallery, when viewed in full screen mode, is very slow. I see a lot of this: https://imgur.com/a/zMJUAVO
Can you prefetch subsequent images and/or show a clearer download indicator?

@grangej_ny I think we could probably use the skeleton loaders instead of spinners, that would at least make the experience feel a bit better. Thoughts?
@kylerjphillips I think a bit of both, I think in general I would love to start pre-caching images in a lot of cases.
@grangej_ny @kylerjphillips the performance is so bad that 1) I've started to stop bothering even loading the large size gallery images, which makes the smaller thumbnails even more important and 2) the performance is also pretty inconsistent between galleries — so I'm not sure if you're loading the source images and videos or resized images, but perhaps you could find a target in between based on an optimal file size to deliver based on screen size and network performance?
