One thing I learned after 6 month of building: users are lazy, unintuitive, impatient

and I am not an exception. I should have missed out on tons of great products because I was impatient enough to spend 2-3 minutes learning about them. I believe that exceptional user onboarding and nurturing funnel can be decisive between the success and failure of the product. There is no 'aha' moment for the user in the first seconds of being on the web? phuff; most of them are gone, even if the product is actually one that they need. I wonder what the best ways/resources to educate makers on how to improve that process are. Any suggestions? - I will make sure to add those resources to our directory so that other fellow founders can access it easily.

I believe that guide notes, when not used overwhelmingly, does the job. Looking back, I feel like I should have spent more effort on onboarding for the product I just launched, but alas we all do run out of time ⌛️ check out Movie Deep Search if you are curious about whether we did the job 🙈 https://www.producthunt.com/post...

This sounds harsh but is true. I have seen users abuse the hell out of products. Treat users like 5 year olds. You need to make everything clear for them and be prepared for anything.

@nilans So true. Even the most straightforward solutions needs a clear, precise and detailed guidance

My boss often says that the user should be treated as a 5-year-old child. Every step of the product should be explained concisely and intuitively. It is best to guide the user directly without explanation. After all, there are too many similar products.
