The average person blinks approximately 15 to 20 times per minute. However, when using digital screens such as computers, smartphones, or tablets, research suggests that people tend to blink less frequently. Some studies indicate that the blink rate can decrease by up to 70% while using digital screens, leading to dry eyes, eye strain and later also myopia.

Yes, when using digital screens, people tend to blink less frequently, resulting in dry eyes and eye strain. Personally, I have experienced this issue, but now I make a conscious effort to perform eye exercises, including continuous blinking while working, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my condition.
