There has been a lot of debate about how much all these events will affect Openai's development. Will everything go back to normal, all processes will be set in motion again as if nothing had happened. Or will something change?

Power dynamics had to change. Usually CEO's / founders have huge stakes so these things dont happen. Board cant boot a person that owns +-50% of the company, dead equity like that means the end of a company. Sam has zero equity. He is in it for the glory of ushering a new age into existence. So now showing how weak his position is, he will petition for greater power, or hedge against this happening again. And such he has become untouchable. Even with no stake.
