New to PH, looking for launch advice

Hi All,
My name is Tim & I am new to PH. I am planning to hunt a product that I have been working on, but wanted to get some advice about building a launch plan.
PH has some great resources available (this blog post has been super helpful: https://blog.producthunt.com/how...), but I also wanted to get advice from experienced Hunters.
1. What are the best things my team can focus on leading up to launch?
2. How much lead time should we give ourselves?
3. Any resources for launch advice you would recommended?

Lead time will depend on how successful the launch you want. If your product is quite an early stage I would recommend you to make a no-frill launch targeting the top 20: https://medium.com/@fabian-maume...

I would strongly advise your team to be active in product hunt discussions at least 2 weeks before the launch.
