I'd say the release of Alpaca by Stanford was quite underrated and very useful.
We basically have open source ChatGPT. Which ones would you say were underrated?

Writesonic/chatsonic. Lately it appears to always be overloaded, but I'd bet they do something about this. I relied on them when chatGPT would get "tired" and start giving lazy answers.

Sonde Health is also an underrated AI technology that detects depression in patients. I am rooting for this product as it needs to break into an industry that highly values human interaction (mental health care)
