Because most of the traffic is mobile these days

@franksondors I agree! Most traffic comes from mobile these days! It also increases the app’s usage because people can now use it on the go!

I would say it’s crucial because some customers are running around and don’t always have a laptop or computer with them! Mobile first allows them to use your app on the go!

Because it's so easy to sit on our laptops whilst we work, and look at pretty desktop designs that look great full screen. Then just completely forget about who is actually going to look at it. We're all vain 😂. But maybe people should wrap more mobile video into their designs. That could help 😉. Maybe even with a tool like Clipara

Prior experience with remote work can indicate a candidate's ability to exhibit self-motivation, effectively communicate and collaborate through digital channels, use remote work tools and technology, and adapt to the autonomy and changing circumstances of remote work. These qualities are valuable in a remote work environment and can contribute to the success of a remote team.

Nowadays, people use smartphones way more often than computers. That's the main reason.

I might have to disagree on some previous comments I read. It depends on the application you're building. I'll set an example: 1. A Content Management System e.g. Contentful will mostly be used by users on a computer. 2. A social media app e.g. Instagram, one where it should be adapted to wherever you are (phone), makes it crucial for the app to be mobile first.

It depends on the product and it's use, but you could gain some insights with R&D on competitors to decide, if your product is lunched you can track the data to see what devices are used more.
