Mental well-being as a maker: Which habits help you unwind after an intense day?

I will start and let you know that after 10+ years of 12 hour coding days, once I passed the age of 30 sleeping well (or sleeping at all) became more of an issue and I had to find a way to make it work: On odd days, I cook, on even days, I work out. I do this every evening except on days where I have other plans of course.

Sleep is the ultimate well-being hack. Solve that and everything else is easy. But you have to optimise your life to attain ultimate sleep. And not a lot of people are willing to do that. so things remain, and "we" keep pursing small hacks that doesn't add up.
