Marketers, does Authority Score still matter? 🤔

I use the Ahrefs tool to measure authority score as it's one of my KPI's. But is it still relevant?

And how can you increase it if it is?

My score hasn't moved since January despite a lot of work.

Hi Lisa, yes it is relevant and I would say a lot.

This authority is key to positioning yourself at the top of high-intention traffic searches.
The solution to improve this is via more quality content and an increased amount of linking to websites
This can be developed by the creation of new blogs and with an affiliate campaign that can be targeted with the ambassador program
