I just started at the beginning of this year. I think LinkedIn is a long game. Merely posting content (even good content) doesn't generate as many connections as Twitter. Also, a good mix of personal + quality content seems better on LinkedIn, because people on LinkedIn want to feel you as a real person, whereas Twitter feels more like a 'personality'. Therefore comments and engaging in other post, getting to know them personally is even more important. You will see a lot of ghostwriters / linkedin Growth hacker / author doing all kind of tips & tricks and their audience is super engaging. I'm guessing that is because people that follows and engage with him are also growth hackers / people from same line of work because they earn by showing they can write and people that wanted to be like them use the methods they teach to engage. Those are my very subjective thoughts about growing personal brand on LinkedIn. And of course maybe that's why I'm not successful yet whoops!

@everest_ng Yeah I think so too. I am just trying to be more consistent with posting. what has worked for you?

@tobi_a I think a regular mix of posting attendance of event, content, and engaging with others (find posts that I am genuinely interested) by asking questions or sharing thoughts have worked out pretty well so far. Slow but I can see steady growth
