Let's talk creative portfolio. What platforms/tools do you use?

Where do you show your creative work? And where do you look for inspiration? Bonus question: Would you recommend these tools/platforms (and why?)

I used to build my portfolio site with Elementor, but now I've shifted to using Framer for my studio's website, auradesign.site. When deciding on a platform, I take into account several factors: -Learning curve -Responsiveness -Component reusability and consistency as the site grows For instance, although I admire Webflow, I've found Framer to be much simpler to use, more cost-effective for my needs, and I've been able to develop sites much more quickly with it!

@sophia_funes Thank you, Sophia! I remember working with Webflow, and yes, I loved how intuitive it was! We aimed to reach this level of simplicity with Macula.link - a product I'm building - just launched today - It's not a website builder per se, but you can hook it up and fetch all the assets to your website directly from your secure storage with on-the-fly optimization, previews, fast metadata loads, etc. I'd love to hear what you think of the learning curve: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I use Dribbble and Behance. Dribbble is great for quick snapshots of projects, while Behance is good for detailed case studies. I also have a profile on Clutch for client reviews and a personal website for a complete portfolio. Each platform serves a different purpose: Dribbble and Behance for community feedback, Clutch for credibility, and my website for a professional overview. I recommend using all of them to display your work and connect with potential clients.

@gene_nemirovsky thanks for sharing! I love Behance, and never heard of Clutch 🤔. But of course, each serves its purpose. We are also launching Macula today and it's purpose is to make sure your work stays yours when shared and published across various platforms https://www.producthunt.com/post... You also can set a specific license when sharing work with clients. At this early stage it's CC licenses only, but we set to bring in managing commercial licenses directly too. If you're keen to test it, I'd be happy to hear your take on it!
