Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a great day. I, with my friend, launched a new AI-powered website called TalesFactory. We'd be happy to know your thoughts! https://www.talesfactory.app/ This is our first time launching a website, so please don't be too mean.

Congrats on the launch! Overall, the website is clean and easy to browse. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. CTA should specify how many free credits users can receive and what information is required to sign up. Social proof, such as public stories created by other users. Personally, when I visit a website, I tend to scan its content, so having easily scannable content is helpful. This way, I can quickly determine what I should do next.

@edgarsgriga Thank you so much! We will improve CTA for free users and add more information about what's required on sign up. Could you tell me more what social proof means? I already added "Browse public library" to showcase the stories generated by the users.

Hi congratulations for the launch, one thing I noticed on the page is the 'inconsistency' on the CTAs and their hover state. For submitting feedback you have a different hover state and for upgrade now you have an outlined button with different hover state. So I think you can improve here, by keeping it consistent. It's probably because I am Dutch that the first thing I look at is the pricing page. But the information there isn't very clear. The heading is: "Be a supporter". But does that mean that without paying there is also a product? The $10,$20,$30 makes it feel like those are monthly prices, but I think that's not true? They seem to be credits you can buy in increments. But the pricing between them is a bit vague. What would happen if somebody buys 150 stories for $10 and 200 stories for $30. Would those $10 stories always only have 6 images? Maybe it is because I can't see the difference between the image quality, but now the more expensive tiers seem to be not that much more valuable than the higher tiers. These is also a UI trick to make one of the options stand out as the "most popular", this really helps guide users. I think the UI on this page could also highlight what is more important a bit better, now it is just a list of points per price. The book https://www.refactoringui.com goes into detail about how to make such information a better readable. One thing I would also really appreciate on the homepage, the page says "Fully narrated", but I would then really love to be able to hear an example of what the narration will sound like.

Call to Action button like login/Signup/Waitlist is hard to find. They should be the first thing or the second thing that catches the eye

The page looks clean and I like the gradient, but the "Make your stories private" has little to no value. I'd suggest adding there a better reason why people should upgrade, or you can keep it but then add one more reason that is related to your Pricing page. As for the pricing page, the 2nd and 3rd pricing options, don't offer much for their price. For double the amount paid, you're offering 2 extra things with little value and a subjective "Awesome" image quality. For triple the amount paid, you're offering 4 extra things with little value and a subjective "Insane" image quality. Those words, "great", "awesome" and "insane", are pretty ambiguous and don't say much about their actual quality, maybe more details are needed. I hope this helps, good luck! :)

Here’s the honest feedback: - Your H1 is unclear and subheading doesn’t tell me what it does. Maybe try “Create unique stories in seconds” - Primary CTA is unclear — opt for 1 button Get started free — then option for Google or Twitter - No social proof or testimonies - No product demo or picture so hard to visualise what I’m actually going to be using - What does upgrade now CTA? Unclear why I would want to upgrade, shouldn’t it be Try for free first then upgrade in the app? Hope it helps 🤓

Hi Jim! I work in content and have also built landing pages. First of all I'd like to say I like that the page is very clean. IMO it's always better to go simple, especially at the beginning. Now, here's some feedback: - Storybook is one word, I believe. - I'm missing a clear CTA. Can users sign up for free before paying? I'd highlight that in the following places: the nav bar top right, on your page, in a banner at the bottom. - Copies like this "All stories you create are unique, coherent, and complete" don't really tell me anything. Maybe you can rephrase it to talk a bit about the creation of the story and WHY/HOW it's unique, etc? - Standardize your headings. For the first div you have "Create Unique Stories" (title case) and for the second you have "Make your stories private" (sentence case) - Some social proof would be great, like user testimonials. I know from firsthand experience that getting this is hard when your product is just starting out. But if you have some loyal users, reach out to them and see if they'd give you a quote. You could even offer them an incentive in exchange for their time (since you guys seem to work with credits, maybe you could give them Tales Factory credits as a thank you!) - You're missing a footer that mirrors the links in the nav bar. Alternatively, I would at least set the nav bar to a fixed position so as the user scrolls it doesn't get lost. What if someone gets to the bottom of the page and decides they want to check out pricing? That missing link could be the bit of friction that sets apart a new customer and a lost lead. Congrats! Graphic and web designer with 15 years exp here. First impressions are good. There are a few small things that I noticed that would be quick fixes and make an instant improvement: 1. This one is actually a major change that you need to prioritise asap: On mobile devices there is no menu, so mobile users are unable to navigate your site. Always focus on the UI/UX design for mobile first then desktop. 2. Keep your buttons consistent. I notice that you have 3-4 different styles, make them all the same. (Also same on hover, again it's different on each button) 3. Pricing is a bit confusing. Needs to be re-written. 4. The spacing of certain elements like logo and "Browse all stories' button need fixing on mobile. Add some padding to the logo so it's not cramped against the corner and align the browse all stories to be in line with button above, or at the very least, centre align it. 5. Feedback page: The form colors are too contrasting. I would personally go for the same colour or off white/ light grey for the fillable sections. After a long day of work in front of my laptop, my eyes find it jarring to look at such strong contrast between the white form and the dark blue/grey fillable areas. The first point as mentioned needs to be addressed ASAP as the majority of all web visitors will always be on mobile. The rest should be prioritised after the mobile menu fix. Also without seeing your branding guidelines which would dictate the brand image of your company, it's hard to give advice as I'm not familiar with your brand, therefore it's hard to give generic design advice as every brand is different and the design should reflect the brand.

@tapzo Hi Deivid. Thank you very much for your inputs! I was not really thinking too much about the mobile experience as the tool was mainly designed for desktop users. But now that you've mentioned "Always focus on the UI/UX design for mobile first then desktop." I will be making improvements in the mobile experience.

First off, don't worry about anyone being mean, ignore the "meanness," but if they're giving good feedback, take it into consideration. Secondly...the landing page is fantastic. I think you deliver the benefit to the consumer right away. The design is clean and interesting. Hat's off, especially if this is your first site, you're a natural. Congratulations on the launch, I think you have a very interesting product.

Love the idea and concept. Congratulations on the launch! Some observations - 1. Hero banner real estate is under-leveraged. I like the headline (Story Books In Seconds), it is short and striking. But it is not supported with relevant visual. 2. I recommend create a dummy story book/flipbook and use it in the header to make it more interactive and engaging. 3. CTAs have to be consistent 4. As a first time visitor, I do not understand the difference between public and private stories. Maybe you create a block which shows the difference between the two 5. I would not ask for feedback upfront on the HP. Your users haven't even experienced the product yet. 6. Ask for an email signup and possibly share inspiration to get stared with registered users. You can also share the tips. 7. Social proof is missing. You are competing in a crowded market and social proof is a key differentiator. I recommend reaching out to few amateur writers or TikTok/IG creators to create books and get them to share testimonials with you. PS - for a story creation tool, you will have to relook at the design - to add more life, color, and errr...story to it. That's it for now. This is a great idea! The pictures are of high quality. I would say have one hero header, and then as the user scrolls, tell a story. I see headers centered and some aligned left. You also have a great opportunity to use one of your images as a header image, make the user feel like they are part of a story/ journey. Public stories - would be great to read the full header title. I enjoyed the website overall, and I wish you all the success!

Your website Looks Awesome it's a bit like apple or adobe website multiple boxes. On your landing page the first CTA Button I see is Upgrade now. Instead your first button should be signup for free or get started.
