Kickstarter Launch for Science Network

Hey everyone, I am a student founder @ SciLynk, a platform I built to connect students, professors, and researchers in the scientific community. It is a feature-packed platform with several advanced networking features, and I am extremely happy to be launching it soon on Kickstarter! My only apprehension is that software/application websites don't perform as well as physical products on platforms like Kickstarter. We need the funding for servers to host several concurrent users - does anyone have any launch/growth strategy tips? Thanks!

@nishith_shah PH would be a great place to launch, however I don't think there is any funding options with launching on PH if I am correct. I am not sure if we are allowed to launch on both - if it is allowed, I'll gladly do it 🧬
Btw, Hacker News could be an interesting place for these kind of platforms.
